PREDICT-Meso were lucky enough to be invited to Cancer Research UK’s Annual Scottish Parliamentary Reception on Wednesday 7th February 2024 at Scottish Parliament

Hosted by Jackie Baillie MSP, the reception celebrated Scotland’s cancer research environment, and we were invited (amongst others) showcase PREDICT-Meso alongside other Cancer Research UK funded researchers working in Scotland.

The team (PREDICT-Meso CI,Prof Kevin Blyth; Project Manager, Dr Alexandrea MacPherson; Clinical Research Fellow, Dr Mark Neilly; and Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) representative, Julie Roberts) had some wonderful conversations with politicians, policy makers, charity representatives, and fellow researchers.

It was an honour to be able to showcase mesothelioma research, our PREDICT-Meso aims, and successess to date to such a welcoming and varied audience

We hope to be invited back next year to update everyone on progress.
